Boyishly Printed Menswear

The Au Jour Le Jour Spring/Summer 2015 Collection is Childlike

Au Jour Le Jour took us back to our childhood days with their Spring/Summer 2015 collection, presented during Pitti Uomo. The printed menswear line was boyish and childlike thanks to an array of school bus, animal and underwater life patterns.

These textile prints reminded audience members of kids' pyjamas or infant bedding textiles that many owned while growing up. Exuding a carefree air, the collection defied expectation with eye-catching pieces that were a nod to childhood.

Patterned graphics and embroidered patch details were displayed in Au Jour Le Jour's wardrobe of patterned separates, casual shirting and shorts garments that set a youthful tone for summer.

Whether matching or clashing its vivid prints, the menswear line embodied an eccentric visual aesthetic with its pieces.
