Tove Lo Released a Full ASL Version of Her 'Sunshine Kitty' Album

Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo recently debuted a series of music videos on YouTube that were created specifically for deaf listeners—with the singer's most recent 'Sunshine Kitty' release given a dedicated ASL version.

The pop star previously launched an ASL version of her 2017 'Blue Lips' album, and decided to work with a number of deaf performers yet again to make the songs from her 2019 album more accessible. The ASL version of the album is dubbed the 'Paw Prints Edition' and showcases a range of musical sign language interpretations. In a few videos, Tove Lo joins in to sign as well.

By launching ASL versions of her popular albums, Tove Lo not only makes her music and the experience that goes along with it accessible to fans with hearing loss, but also showcases how varied, emotional and powerful ASL interpretations can be by featuring different talent in every video.
