Raphael's "The Sistine Madonna" For AIDS

A detail of the Italian Renaissance masterpiece The Sistine Madonna by Raphael has been used by an AIDS awareness organization in Italy to promote the use of condoms. The Lega Italiana per la Lotta Contro L'Aids (LILA) seeks to encourage the use of the prophylactic and to that end, Raphael's cherubic angels which are at the very bottom of the painting, offer a visual reminder of the need to take precautions before engaging in sexual intercourse.

One point that I will mention that might just be a figment of my vivid imagination:The winged 'genii' or angels are widely believed to represent a funeral ceremony within the context of the painting. Was that some kind of hidden message?
