Israeli artist PILPELED helped to create this artfully designed e-bike from Electric Concepts.
This bicycle is being touted at the first-ever artistically designed e-bike and it certainly lives up to its name. A single-speed, motor-powered machine is the base of this artfully designed e-bike. Created to be a commuter bike, the mechanisms behind the bicycle have been designed to work alongside PILPELED's art work. What looks like ancient hieroglyphic text covers the bike in stark white against a matte black background.
Great care was given to making the final product and that is clearly visible in the accompanying 'Making Of' film. While the bike was designed as a custom, one-of-a-kind piece, Electric Concepts has plans to launch it to consumers later this July.
