Elin Jonsson Has Created These Art Nouveau Game of Thrones Posters

Artist and Game of Thrones fan Elin Jonsson has created these eye-catching art nouveau style illustrations, focusing on some of fantasies most well-liked female characters. These intriguing poster style artworks depict Game of Thrones characters such as Daenerys Targaryen, Catelyn Tully and Margaery Tyrell.

These characters are all women, but they also have something else in common. They're all powerful within the series. Daenerys Targaryen is the Mother of Dragons, and the rightful ruler of Westeros (the kingdom that the series revolves around). Catelyn Tully is a fearless female figure, not to mention mother of the King in the North. Margaery plays dumb, but uses her femininity to manipulate and control men in positions of power.

Jonsson depicts these women standing over the bodies of their deceased husbands (maybe in an effort to point out that the women in this series can often be stronger than the men). Fans of the show are guaranteed to love these artworks.
