Bradley Theodore’s Art Icon Graffiti Pieces Boast Boney Structures

Art icon graffiti is popping up all over major cities; artists have been remixing pop culture with traditional art forms to create modern and unique works of art. Most recently, artist Bradley Theodore has been utilizing the streets to depict some of the most well-known celebrities, fashion and art icons.

However, Bradley separates himself from other pop culture artists by creating colorful, skull versions. The boney celebrity images look as though they are inspired by the skeletal art from the Mexican holiday called Day of the Dead.

So far, he has re-imaged two of fashion’s biggest names, Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld and famed artist Andy Warhol. Though they are very prismatic, the artist made sure their identities remain distinct by leaving Anna’s iconic bob, Karl’s white ponytail and Andy’s side-parted, blonde hair intact.
