Street Food Meets Street Art

Local Industry pros dishing out limited edition art and tacos.

Andrew Richmond worked side by side with Amin Todai, owner of the Toronto Digital boutique "OneMethod" when hatching this master plan. The two began with the idea of pairing street art with street food. They started out without a restaurant, found a local artist to create their "Dia de los Muertos" skull, called some friends to help cook, sent out a few tweets, and successfully sold some limited edition artwork and tacos.
This may not seem like a big deal, I assure you it is. Over the next 11 months the pair did this again and again, involving talented local artists and chefs each time. Their small and unique idea to "Make something out of nothing" has become so popular that they now have a restaurant location "La Carnita" at 501 College Street Toronto, ON where they serve up some amazing food along with unique art.
