Exclusive Art Drops

eBay Partners with Maccarone Gallery and Grimes for a Special Colection

E-commerce giant eBay has just announced its new collaboration with Maccarone Gallery and artist/musician Grimes, which will run through December 18th and would involve special, curated art drops.

The initiative is collectively titled 'A Decade of Grimes' and as the name might suggest, the art drops exhibit pieces that highlight the artist's inspiration and ventures in the last 10 years. The works involve various mediums and the art drops will follow a dedicated schedule. The first debut was on September 9th. It involved six digital painting limited-edition prints. These do a great job of Grimes' visual language and aesthetics. The second drop is October 14th and consumers can expect exclusive apparel. "designed by Grimes and inspired by her artwork." The last art drop is scheduled for November 18th and it will boast a selection of "special-edition prints bearing "failed album covers" that give insight into the process through which an album’s final visuals are resolved.

All proceeds of these art drops will go toward supporting Carbon180.
