Cargo-Pulling Snow machines

The Ardenner Can Pull 250 kg of Cargo Across the Snow

The Ardenner is a triple-track cargo snowmobile, produced by Austrian company Mattro, that is completely electric. The prototype is being presented at the Interalpin trade show in Innsbruck, Austraia.

Developed by a team of young engineers to showcase the possibilities of electric power, the Ardenner's all-electric drive allows for each of its three tracks to be controlled independently without any loss in efficiency, as there's no gear box or transmission setup that will soak up precious engine power. The use of rotational speed-based steering allows for intelligent changes in speed in a controlled and optimized manner.

This vehicle looks like it's sure to be a superior alternative to current snow-bound cargo vehicle, and will be appreciated by ranchers, farmers and land owners who have to navigate terrain in challenging weather conditions.
