Ardbeg BizarreBQ Delivers Smoky Flavors with a Meaty, Peaty Punch

Ardbeg BizarreBQ is a unique, limited-edition whisky created by Ardbeg's director of whisky creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, and it captures the smoky flavors of barbecue. Author and DJ Christian Stevenson, also known as "DJ BBQ" also had a hand in creating this whisky with a "meaty, peaty punch."

This whisky was developed with double-charred oak casks, Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks and the distillery’s unique barbecue casks with extra char. The finished single malt promises to appeal to barbecue and whisky fans with its aromas of charcoal, soot, smoky wood and aromatic herbs and spices. Not for the faint of heart, this whiskey delivers a "massive, hot aftertaste" of grilled artichoke and black olives.
