The Arc Nova is a Mobile Inflatable Venue Which Will be Used for Music

The first mobile inflatable concert hall has been built in Japan dubbed the 'Arc Nova.' This massive bubble can accommodate up to 500 people including stage, audio equipment, lights, seating and so forth.

The Arc Nova was created by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and British-Indian sculptor Anish Kapoor. The structure took around one entire year to complete. This venue was created as a mobile venue for the purpose of touring around earthquake and tsunami devastated areas of Tohoku, for the purpose of delivering encouragement through music.

This structure takes two hours to inflate, but the time and effort creating this project is going to an amazing cause. The first scheduled performance at the Arc Nova is October 12th, and the entire lineup of artists can be found on the Arc Nova website.
