Herbicide-Launching Guns

This Paintball-Like Gun Allows You To Apply Herbicide In Difficult Areas

A group of engineers and researchers working out of the INECOL institute over in Mexico have come up with a special mechanism that is designed to revolutionize the way people apply herbicide to pest plants.

Developed by a team led by professor Mayra del Angel, the system consists of a gun similar to those seen in paintball. Rather than paint, each of these guns comes fully equipped with special capsules that contain bio-herbicide that is capable of destroying and killing pests without hurting the host plant. The gun can shoot the capsules up to a height of up to 25 meters.

This capsule-firing gun makes it easier to apply herbicide in hard-to-reach areas, making it easier for farmers to eradicate pest infestations and ensure that their crops are healthy and blooming.
