JW Anderson Debuts a Collection Honoring Rembrandt

London-based brand JW Anderson is releasing a new apparel collection that features inspiration and honors the Dutch painter Rembrandt. Rembrandt's artwork was known as the original selfie, with the artist's cross-hatched pen-and-ink self-portraits considered as one of the foundations of 16th-century art. The collection was revealed as part of the brand's Fall/Winter 2023 range at London Fashion Week.

Paying homage to Rembrandt's iconic works, this collection consists of facial drawings of the artist, featured on knit sweaters in pink and purple yarn. The facial graphics are also placed on hoodies, bottoms, and silk sets. In addition, the collection also has a selection of bucket hats, suede and leather tote bags, and pre-distressed slip-on sneakers. The collection is available for purchase at a different range of prices.
