Crowdsourced Medical Photo Apps

'Figure 1' is an Instagram-Like Medical App for Doctors

'Figure 1' is a medical app for doctors that is comparable to Instagram. The app is designed to connect healthcare professionals and build an online library of medical images. It is easy to keep patient data confidential with face and tattoo blocking and information removal with a single press of a button.

Just like Instagram, this crowdsourced medical app is similarly organized, free to use and works with hashtags. This crowd-sourced app is an interesting way for healthcare professionals to learn from the experience of one another. Users can even add arrows and comments to make note of certain parts of an image. As you might expect, some of the images are quite graphic and not for those with weak stomachs.

The two-week old app is currently only available in North America, but there are plans expansion in the future.
