This Book Offers Recreated Depictions Of the Apollo 11 Flight Plans

A group of designers and innovators working out of the Australian city of Melbourne are creating a wonderfully innovative coffee table book that is set to be filled with a plethora of images, text and other information pertinent to Apollo 11 flight plans.

Like a lot of other fantastic innovations, this particular project was inspired by a specific scarcity -- in this case, the difficulty in obtaining fully authentic Apollo 11-related memorabilia. Developed by Reproduction IO, this book is currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign over on Kickstarter. It features 362 pages filled with wonderfully informative and accurate recreations of all 362 pages of the Apollo 11 flight plan.

This particular project goes to show that books still offer a lot of value in an increasingly digitized world.
