Kettle Teapots – When Water Boils, A Pattern Appears on the 'World Kitchen Tea Off' Winner

When Water Boils, A Pattern Appears on the 'World Kitchen Tea Off' Winner

The 2009 World Kitchen Tea Off design winner is a brilliant new way to boil, brew and serve your tea. The teapot looks like a plain white vase until you fill it with water and place it on the stove to boil.

As the water warms up, a design appears around the center of the vessel. Once the design has fully appeared, you know your tea is ready to serve.

The teapot comes with a magnetic trivet that allows it to be placed directly on the table where you are serving the tea. As the trivet is heat activated, it simply drops off the base of the vessel once it has cooled.

The tea can be poured directly from the pot, and so functions as both a kettle and a teapot.
