Anime Christmas Trees

Singapore’s One Raffles Place Hosts a Tree Made from Doraemon Plushies

This year, One Raffles Place in Singapore is decorated with a rather unusual anime Christmas tree—the stacked sculpture is made up of Doraemon plush animals, each wearing a festive red Santa hat.

The decorative Doraemon tree is part of a contest for shoppers, who have the chance to win a large 18" plush or shop gift certificates. In order to participate, shoppers are being asked to snap a photo of the tree, share it to Facebook or Twitter with the #ORP tag and make their best guess at how many plushies make up the tree.

Shoppers who spend a certain amount of money also have the chance to win everything Doraemon-themed, including toys, wrapping paper, passes to the Doraemon Expo or tickets to the Doraemon movie.
