Animal by Chris Schild, a hair and makeup artist based in Cologne, Germany, is a photo series revolving around a few wild hairstyles. Although wild might not be the right descriptor in spite of the title of the photo series. While easily likened to the black and white stripes of zebras, the dye job and cuts are much more sleek and futuristic then one would first expect.
Created for the avant garde section of a German Hairdressing award, Animal by Chris Schild stars model Lisette. She posed fiercely in a studio photoshoot held by photographer Benni. The experimental looks were complemented with an all-black wardrobe that was put together by stylist Jennifer Merten of N Managment.
