Angry Crab Shack is organizing a new public event called the Mardi Gras Festival, a day-long celebration in Chandler, Arizona. The happening will feature themed cuisine, live musical performances, carnival attractions, and a pet adoption component. The restaurant notes that a share of the proceeds will be directed to the Boulder Crest Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting military veterans and their families.
The inaugural Mardi Gras Festival represents the Angry Crab Shack's extension of its brand identity into a community-focused, experiential occasion. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in accessible and family-oriented activities, while enjoying the restaurant’s signature Asian-Cajun seafood offerings alongside traditional Mardi Gras dishes like jambalaya and beignets. The pet adoption component was made possible through a collaboration with Arf Anage Pet Rescue and iHeartMedia's Jon Jay & Pups.
