Revitalized Hotel Restaurants

Angel Oak Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara is Set to Transform

Angel Oak Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara, is poised for a complete transformation as part of a multimillion-dollar revitalization project set to begin in January 2025. The restaurant will undergo an extensive redesign, which will include a new name and a full remodel. Inspired by "the Spanish missions, the reimagined concept will seamlessly blend Coastal Mediterranean and Italian influences with California’s vibrant, seasonal ingredients."

In addition to the redesigned dining area, the updated space will feature "a curated wine cellar and an outdoor patio, offering open, airy interiors complemented by warm accents, hand-painted murals, and hacienda-inspired design elements—these updates are intended to create a tranquil and inviting atmosphere for guests."

The restaurant will close in January and is scheduled to reopen in May with a completely reimagined dining experience. Led by Chef Danny Grant, known for his Michelin-starred expertise, the new concept will merge innovation with respect for the region’s natural beauty and history.
