Singer-Designed Outerwear

Ms. Lauryn Hill Designs the Woolrich American Soul Since 1830 Campaign

Ms. Lauryn Hill is the creative force behind her very first fashion ad dubbed American Soul Since 1830 which was created for Woolrich. Starring the iconic singer, the fashion label's Fall/Winter 2018 campaign showcases a selection of custom pieces that reference the musician's early days in the industry while residing in New York. Hill told British Vogue that she has been customizing her own clothing for a while now and came up with 30 sketches of jacket designs. Some examples include the Silverton coat that features the 'Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' album artwork and the arctic parka that sees jewels and text print on the shoulder and sleeves.

Additional pieces from the range include workwear, denim, and outerwear to prepare for the colder seasons to come. All of these pieces boast the label's signature check design. The ad campaign returns to New York's own Harlen theater and Washington Heights. The Ms. Lauryn Hill x Woolrich Fall/Winter 2018 collection will be available later this year in North America and Europe.
