The Umbrellamp is Created with a Traditional Oil-Paper Umbrella

Xian-Studio launches a Kickstarter campaign with ambient lamps that are inspired by traditional Chinese oil-paper umbrellas. During the development of the Umbrellamp, the designer was able to infuse the product with an overt contemporary aesthetic that allows the furniture accessory to delicately accentuate any space. The ambient lamps are made out of bamboo and oil-paper. The structure and the materials are able to communicate the ancient status of the Chinese-born craft, while the curious relationship between the product's form and matter present the furniture piece in an expressive modern way.

Without a doubt, the ambient lamps by Xian-Studio will create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere to any outdoor balcony, indoor space or even whimsical garden.
