Amazon Fashion created a custom t-shirt sales portal, named "Made for You," through the amazon app that features "virtual fit technology."
The custom t-shirt portal is available to Amazon Fashion consumers in the United States, and each item costs $25. Customers can input their specific height, weight, body style, as well as photos of themselves. Amazon shoppers can also choose between two fabric types, eight colors, and pick the fit, length, sleeve length and neckline.
After the personal body information is inputted, "Made for You" will show a preview of what the t-shirt would look like on a virtual body double of the customer. Consumers can track their changes to see how each measurement affects the fit and they can also rotate the virtual body double.
