Designer Ed Chew Creates Amazing Lighting From Discarded Drink Boxes

Designer Ed Chew creates amazing lighting from discarded drink boxes. The 'TetraBox' lamps that Chew creates are certainly a step in the right direction when it comes to being eco-conscious and mindful of our future. This amazing lighting collection has all been created out of used drink boxes, the end result is absolutely astonishing; the one-of-a-kind lamps look like they have been purchased from a high-end lighting store.

These designs are created by unfolding the drink packets and refolding them into hexagonal and pentagonal sections. The many sections are then carefully pieced together to form unique spherical shapes. The image from this particular creation resemble an Epcot-like ball, this light would make a great overhead light in the office or the home. The "TetraBox' series of lights cast impressive webs of shadows and shapes when illuminated on the surrounding areas.
