Scintillating 1970s Photoshoots

The Vogue Paris Allure D'Ete Editorial Exhibits All-Gold Apparel

The Vogue Paris Allure D'Ete photoshoot remixes typical beach apparel. Stylist Geraldine Saglio showcased the looks with the help of model Doutzen Kroes who posed in an all-gold outfit.

The metallic looks present in Allure D'Ete channel the 1970s. Vintage notes also came of high rise booty shorts and a structured collar, cuts that were very much apart of old school fashion movements. Saglio proved that these pieces are essential today with the addition of reflective sunglasses and an ivory bathing suit.

Photographer Gilles Bensimon captured this display of accessories and apparel at a crisp blue beach. The color scheme worked exceptionally well in each shot, especially as a way to offset the bright tones present in the shorts and jacket ensemble.
