The Allen Ying 145th Street 43 Images Feature Boarders Mid-Air

Photographer Allen Ying has captured a skateboarder in mid-air for 43 magazine. The artist did so by way of an athlete who crossed over New York City tracks at the 145th Subway Station.

Ying and his subject who is only known as 'Koki' captured this epic moment in several shots. The piece was featured in Issue 003 of the publication which deliberately focused on those who engage in secret underground missions in the city.

This breathtaking image has been causing quite an online stir. While some have questioned the authenticity of Ying's work here, Koki did in fact launch off the platform, gliding across as he did via an ollie. Los Angeles' The Burgundy Room is set to showcase Issue 003.
