Artist Alexander Gorlizki's Photo Series Features Goats in Snazzy Sweaters

Amazing Brooklyn-based artist Alexander Gorlizki spends a lot of his time in Jaipur, India working on his craft. His latest project showcases a bundle of Indian goats decked out in sweaters.

The nameless collection of photos features a very wide set of the animal in all kinds of sweaters, some even going as far as wearing pants. Almost all of the featured photos were taken in Winter, so you have to understand why these stylish goats are all dolled up. Contrary to the speculation that these animals are dressed for artistic or fashion based reasons, Alexander Gorlizki explains that these magnificent mammals are being kept warm for the upcoming Eid al-Adha festival, a holiday that celebrates sacrifice where every family typically buys two or three goats and distributes the meat amongst their families and the poor. A warm goat is a healthy goat.

Though these chic creatures are destined to be dinner, this collection of photographs featuring their savvy attire is an adorable final debut if you ask me.
