Brooklyn-Based Furniture Company Akron Street is Affordable

Akron Street is a Brooklyn-based design studio that offers enduring staples to accompanying users throughout each stage of their life, "from your first shared apartment to your forever home and every chapter in between." Akron Street offers bed frames, headboards, desks, tables, chairs, side tables, game consoles, and more. Each piece was thoughtfully designed to offer maximum impact with a minimalist aesthetic.

The minimal and functional furniture brand was launched by co-founder Lulu Li, a Harvard Graduate School of Design and Yale College graduate, and her partner and fellow Harvard grad Hansley Yunez. The pair moved into their first apartment together and saw a need for pieces designed to "accommodate the practicalities of everyday living."

The entire Akron Street collection is available to purchase online and in store.
