Air France Music Utilizes Augmented Reality to Let Flyers Download in the Sky

France airline has incorporated an augmented reality app for their passengers to "snatch" music from the sky called Air France Music.

Travelers will know that sitting on extended hours on the plane is extremely tiresome. While there are other sources of entertainment -- movies, airline radio, TV series and games -- the aren't exactly customizable. The Air France Music allows travelers to create their own playlists using their augmented reality app as well as new trivia games based on their music downloads. By pointing the smartphones upwards towards the sky, users will be able to discover new hidden tracks marked by a yellow circle that they can "snatch."
