Fantasy Production Aftershows

'After the Thrones' Gives Fans Insights on Game of Thrones

'After the Thrones' is the name of a new weekly show that will follow every Game of Thrones season six episode.

The show is set to provide "a lively, humorous and sophisticated look at the series" by picking apart some of the complex history, politics and characters that drive the show. Each show will be hosted by Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan, who Game of Thrones fans may already know from Grantland’s Watch the Thrones podcast.

After the Thrones is now being implemented on HBO NOW, HBO GO and HBO On Demand after the success of a similar format used by The Walking Dead's own aftershow, the 'Talking Dead.' If a TV network doesn't provide fans with the content that they crave beyond a TV series, fans will seek out podcasts and YouTube series, or create their own.
