Adding a lot of flair to this residence’s interior is the subtle yet vibrant African theme decor accents.
Designed and decorated by a collaborative effort between Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects and design firm OKHA Interiors, this stunning African theme decor was created for a duplex apartment located in Cape Town, South Africa. The owners wanted a space they felt was representative of traditional graphic African design and culture while keeping the overall look modern and urban.
"The interior needed to be a place of calm and serenity, therefore less is more was the rule but still allowing for personal expression and individuality to have its place," says Adam Court, a partner at OKHA.
Using vibrant elements and geometric forms, the team was able to make the fusion the clients wanted come to life.
