Michael Poliza Captured Gorgeous Photos of African Landscapes

German photographer Michael Poliza captured beautiful aerial photos of African landscapes. The majority of the landscapes included in the series are the open planes of Botswana and Namibia, which are the homes to a wide variety of safari animals. The visual difference between the two African locations is the terrain. Damaraland, Namibia is more dry than Botswana and features granite formations.

The aerial views are stunning and allow the viewer to see not only the patterns in the terrain, but also allows them to see the wildlife patterns. For example, giraffes tend to stagger themselves when travelling, while elephants walk in straight lines or hang out close together.

The gorgeous shots have been published in Poliza’s book, 'Eyes Over Africa.'
