Blowing Up Your Friends

Adidas Star Wars App Lets You Laser Your Facebook Buddies

Adidas is introducing their ‘Original Star Wars Collection’ arrival in January with a mash—a Google Maps/Facebook Connect in a Star Wars Death Star Superlaser’ mash-up application.

Using realistic 'Star Wars' Death Star footage and Darth Vader at the helm of the control center, the Adidas Star Wars app lets you target your Facebook friends by zoning in on their location with the Superlaser and then zapping them to oblivion. All that remains in the spot is Adidas logo imprint with the words ‘The Adidas Originals Star Wars Collection’ is ‘Hitting Your Street in January 2010.’

I tried the Adidas Star Wars app and thought it was fun. I blew up a couple of my friends who have since ‘unfriended’ me. Obviously, they can’t take a joke.
