The Adaptable Tower Changes Structure as Easily as LEGO

The Adaptable Tower changes structure and shape as easily as building with LEGO pieces.

Kok Keong Tew and Linshou Wang designed the Adaptable Tower to recreate how often skyscrapers could change their look. With a steel mega frame structure, the skyscraper features slots that can be filled in with shipping containers in yellow, red, blue and black. The building can change in function, density and even height. The designers have gone on to recreate other parts such as terraces by simply pushing the containers further out from the frames. It's LEGO -- but in real life!
