The "BB" in the name represents basketball, as it is meant to be a footwear design created for the sport.
The concept is to detect any swelling when on the court and release pressure automatically through the technically-powered lacing system. To do so, the label uses its 'E.A.R.L. technology' -- this stands for Electric Adaptable Reaction Lacing and it electronically detects comfortable contours. It has a light-up system, which flashes blue lights to indicate the Adapt BB's tightening process.
