Acne Studios Spring/Summer 2014 Shoes Have Droid Faces

The Acne Studios Spring/Summer 2014 collection is complete with both women’s and men’s shoes. The sneakers and heels will stun anyone who takes a glance; they are made out of some extremely shiny and metallic-finished leather.

The collection was inspired by arcade games in the early 1980s and each shoe is adorned with a debossed face at the toe. The face is on a square decal that is also metallic, but matches the color of the shoe it is on; thus, the rose-gold pump has a rose-gold decal.

These shoes were launched to match the super popular Akoya and Vanessa bags that were launched last season, which now come in even more colors. Though the Stockholm-based fashion house made these with the past in mind, the robot-looking shoes seem more futuristic than nostalgic.
