Hand-Blown Abstract Vases

These Abstract Vases Look Like They are Melting into Wedges of Stone

Swedish Studio EO has designed abstract vases that are unlike most vases currently available on the market.

The vases each feature a glass container that sits atop a wedge of stone -- including granite, marble and onyx. The abstract vases, entitled the 'Indefinite Vases' are unusually placed onto these pieces of stone, as the glass containers look like they are melting and taking the form of the shape underneath them. Some of the most interesting pieces in this collection include an oblong glass shape that looks like it is melting onto a slab of stone that has multiple heights, and a round bowl that sits atop a triangular wedge of stone and looks like it could also function as a small aquatic bowl.

Looking more like something out of a Salvador Dali painting than a functional vase, the Indefinite collection offers a unique twist on a standard household item.
