The Black Magazine A Strange & Wild Song editorial showcases model Franziska Mueller within aggressive face paint. Black linear lines were drawn across her eye lids and cheek bones, reminiscent of a distinctive brand of circus fashion.
Stylist Sara Dunn gave this cosmetic look the go ahead. The aggressive nature of the make up did not serve to take away from the opulent apparel however. Draping shawls and high Victorian-esque neck lines made Mueller look all the more fierce, although she does this naturally on her own. Photographer Andy Eaton added his own artistic flair to the set, seen in his up close images of her elongated neck and facial region. The splattered grey backdrop was all that was needed.
