The US Elle A Simple Plan Photoshoot is Bound in Nature

The US Elle A Simple Plan editorial showcases model Wang Xiao within a botanical garden. The muted natural set was captured on behalf of photographer Laurie Bartley here who took in the landscape within which Xiao stood.

Stylist Kate Lanphear dressed Xiao in an assortment of green apparel that matched A Simple Plan's large green fronds and murky swamps. She did so in an avant-garde manner with shimmery metallic button up shirts, long thin dresses and patterned robes.

Both Lanphear and Bartley furthered the sets' natural elements with the use of rustic props, seen in their incorporation of bird cages, wooden paddles, creaky boats and bicycles. These pieces come together swimmingly for this March 2013 US Elle production.
