College life can be exhausting between courses, work and friends, and most students often become sleep-deprived insomniacs, but the Bravo Chair is here to put an end to this madness.
Matte Nyberg, a Master’s student of Industrial Design at Pratt Insitute, developed the Bravo Chair, a project designed to "allow for that much-needed mid-study session nap," according to the designer. The chair was designed and built in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The asymmetric design and pop of red makes the chair both aesthetically pleasing and practical. The red seat cushion and curvy wood back allows for comfortable studying or reading. Further, the chair’s back has a smartly placed matching cushion to rest your head on as you dose off for a much deserved nap, without the fear of getting the dreaded post-nap neck cramp.
This design would be a perfect addition to a public library, living room or bookstore.
