The BBC's A Perfect Planet Billboard Was Set on Fire

The BBC wowed Londoners with its A Perfect Planet billboard campaign, which was set on fire to raise awareness for deforestation and global warming.

The billboard was designed to promote the BBC's new show of the same name. Narrated by David Attenborough, the series features five episodes, exploring the topics of Volcanoes, weather, sunlight, the oceans, and mankind's impact on it all. Due to the critical nature of the series, the billboard ad needed to be equally as harrowing. As a result, the billboard was set alight for 30 minutes using environmentally friendly vapour. One half of the billboard is lush with green, reading "A perfect planet" while the other half depicts images of a forest fire reading "But for how long?"
