Burn Boot Camp Ran 'A Moment for Moms' This Year

For Mother’s Day 2026, Burn Boot Camp ran the nationwide ‘A Moment for Moms’ campaign. This initiative invited members to bring any mother figure in their life to experience a complimentary 45-minute trainer-led workout at more than 400 locations across the country. Many of these businesses also offered free Childwatch services to remove one of the most common barriers preventing mothers from prioritizing their own health.

Burn Boot Camp’s ‘A Moment for Moms’ initiative was inspired by co-founder and CEO Morgan Kline's personal experience after the birth of her third child, when she found herself feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected from herself. The campaign recognizes that the pressure on mothers to keep going, bounce back, and do everything often leaves no room for their own well-being.

The workouts were designed for all fitness levels with personalized support and scalable exercises. Ultimately, Burn Boot Camp's campaign acknowledged that most moms lack not motivation but support, space, and permission to take time for themselves.

Trend Themes

  1. Mother-centric Fitness Experiences — Programming that centers workouts and amenities around mothers’ schedules and needs reveals new market segments seeking empathetic, life-stage–tailored fitness offerings.
  2. Onsite Childcare for Gym Access — Providing supervised, free or low-cost childcare during workouts addresses a major attendance barrier and creates demand for integrated care-and-fitness service models.
  3. Trainer-led Inclusive Mini-workouts — Short, scalable, coach-guided sessions built for varying fitness levels open possibilities for higher throughput, retention, and hybrid in-person/virtual membership structures.

Industry Implications

  1. Boutique Fitness Chains — Smaller, community-focused studios can differentiate by embedding life-stage support services and family-friendly programming into their membership propositions.
  2. Workplace Wellness Providers — Employers and third-party wellness vendors could expand benefits to include on-site or subsidized mom-friendly classes and childcare to improve retention and productivity.
  3. Family-focused Hospitality — Hotels and resorts offering integrated fitness with trusted child supervision may capture demand from parents seeking restorative experiences while traveling.
