The Vogue Paris A La Plage Photoshoot Exhibits Distressed Beach Scenes

The May 2015 Vogue Paris editorial titled A La Plage focuses exclusively on faux shipwrecked scenes. Photographer Lachlan Bailey shot model Andreea Diaconu while spread out on sandy shores, making it appear as if the brunette was found at the scene almost organically.

Stylist Geraldine Saglio executed this elegantly distressed Vogue Paris scene. She did so by way of a torn knit sweater, a frayed sweater vest and a series of ropes tied at the waist and feet.

Given the rustic feel of this production, hair expert Rudi Lewis made Diaconu's tresses appear messy with a loose top bun. This was paired with cosmetics specialist Lisa Butler's use of metallic eye shadow and neutral lip tones.
