The V Magazine Naomi Campbell Swarovski Artwork

The V Magazine Naomi Campbell spread features photographer and artist Mickalene Thomas carrying out a reincarnation of the supermodel in adorning her portrait in luxurious Swarovski crystals. Thomas first snaps the photographs and then true to his former work, he embellishes them in a style evocative of 1970s Blaxploitation.

The shoot in V Magazine's V65 is dubbed “Happy Birthday, Naomi” to celebrate the Campbell's upcoming fortieth birthday in May.

The issue hits newsstands May 11th.
