Budding Illustrator Creates Extrordinary Version of ‘The Silmarillion’

Illustrator and calligrapher Benjamin Harff from Germany has been working close to two years on a work of love of the J.R.R. Tolkien story ‘The Silmarilion,’ which is among the best, if not the best, works on the book ever made.

Harff has contacted the Tolkien estate in hopes of securing a deal to publish the book as a deluxe version.

So far there hasn’t been any response back, but hopefully they’ll take a look at the work of Harff and appreciate what he has done with this one-of-a-kind work, which many Tolkien fans would love to include with their personal libraries.
