The 'Masters of Style' Exhibition by Peroni Nastro Azzurro is Celebratory

Peroni Nastro Azzurro has celebrated 150 years since the unification of Italy as a single nation (an anniversary the country celebrates this year) by bringing together six of its iconic fashion houses together for a unique show of their archives.

The 'Masters of Style: Celebrating the Stories Behind Italian Fashion' exhibition is on at London’s home of fashion, Somerset House. It features archive images chosen by Giorgio Armani, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Stefania Ricci of the Ferragamo Museum, Frida Gianni of Gucci, Angela Missoni and Miuccia Prada.

Housed in gallery pavilions, each tells the personal stories behind the defining moments of each label’s history and creative journey. Each designer has shared personal stories, anecdotes and musings, as they explain what influences and inspires their individual looks.

The show brings together the creativity, flair, workmanship and craft that makes Italian style world-leading.
