Jeff Koons Designs a Dynamic BMW 850i xDrive Gran Coupe

Iconic American pop artist Jeff Koons was tapped by the BMW team to help design the 850i xDrive Gran Coupe. The car is detailed with bright pops of color and elements that are inspired by the look of comic book art. There were only 99 cars made during the release and now, one of the cars is being held at the auction by Bring A Trailer.

Visually, it is detailed with 11 bright tones with geometric patterns throughout the contours of the vehicle. The car takes about 285 hours to be treated with the look. Some of the defining details include the POP! bubble symbol and 'vapor thrust' images to show off the car's agility.
