$73,000 Facebook Profiles

Man Auctions Off His Social Network Identity

Recently we saw a woman auctioning off her virginity online, and now a man is taking his turn to climb on board the ‘cashing in’ bandwagon.

A guy from Massachusetts is currently auctioning his Facebook profile on eBay with a starting bid of $73,000.

In order to pay off his college debts, the man is offering someone the opportunity to purchase his online social identity, giving them full access to his photos and huge network of friends, which he says he invested quite a bit of time into building up.

Probably a tempting offer if you are fed up with your current group of friends, but would anyone be willing to pay for it?
