Ethical Perfume Line Partnerships

7 Virtues Partners with Suppliers in Rebuilding Countries

Sephora has embarked on diversifying its inventory, offering consumers a wider selection of clean and sustainable cosmetic products and the latest to hit the brand's shelves is a new perfume by 7 Virtues.

7 Virtues Peace Perfume is made with ingredients sourced from war-torn and re-building areas. The fragrance company partners with local suppliers and pays above-market price for their items, like orange peels and rose oils, that may otherwise be difficult to sell during times of conflict. Thanks to the new Sephora partnership, 7 Virtues can expand its line to work with farms in Haiti, Madagascar, Rwanda, Israel, Iran and India.

The company's founder, Barb Stegemann, hopes the ethical business model will inspire other companies to "partner with suppliers in rebuilding countries."
