Sugar Lab Has Launched the Stunning Sushi Roll Bonbons

Sugar Lab positions itself as "the world's first digital bakery," and a specialist in eye-catching and mouth-watering 3D-printed confections. Most recently, the brand debuted a new item and this is the Sushi Roll Bonbons. Available as a set of six, this product is printed using powdered sugar, and the bonbons are filled with hojicha (a tea powder made from finely ground roasted green tea, traditionally grown in Kyoto, Japan) ganache and tahini ganache. Sugar Lab's top chocolate makers combine the hojicha ganache with smooth milk chocolate, while the tahini adds a strong umami flavor.

In order to bring the sushi-inspired 3D-printed confections to life, Sugar Lab designers "painstakingly studied the texture of rice and the delicate shades of orange, pink, and white needed to achieve the perfect marbling of fresh salmon cut."
